How do you remove a motor oil stain from a shirt?

I have a polo shirt that can not be replaced. I accidentally got motor oil on it. I pretreated with Shout spray and gel, and then washed it. Instead of putting it in the dryer, I hung it on a hanger to dry, but the spot is still there. Is there a way to get it out? It's 100% cotton, warm washable. How do you remove a motor oil stain from a shirt?
Apply some Dawn dish liquid directly to the stains...How do you remove a motor oil stain from a shirt?
Get some Simple Green. It's a concentrated spray cleaner available in a lot of grocery, hardware, automotive and discount stores. Now it comes full strength which might have an effect on the color on your shirt. I'd dampen the spot with a little warm water and then spray the Simple Green on the spot and gently scrub a bit. Then leave it lay for an hour or so and wash in the washer. Might have to do this a couple of times but I've used Simple Green to get black grease out of jeans and all kinds of things.

I would try buying some hand cleaner (like Fast Orange) or some kind of hand cleaner they would sell at auto parts stores to clean grease off your hands, and mix a tablespoon with a tablespoon of baking soda, then rub the paste on the stain. Let it sit for a day and soak up the oil, rinse and see how it looks. I have a plastic container of hand cleaner that's blue and white, and says ';try on the toughest laundry stains';, so it might work.
