What happens if you mix a regular motor oil with a synthetic or synthetic blend?

I was about a quart low and added a quart from my trunk. It was regular motor oil. The last time they changed it they may have used a synthetic oil or a synthetic blend. Will it hurt to drive it for a few days til I can get it changed again? What happens if you mix a regular motor oil with a synthetic or synthetic blend?
Nothing will happen, except maybe the sythetic oil giving your engine extra protection that the regular oil doesn't already give you. The two oils mix fine-hence synthetic blend oil.(50/50 mix of regular and synthetic)What happens if you mix a regular motor oil with a synthetic or synthetic blend?
if you need to just add a quart theres really no problem..anything over a quart its best to match. I would suggest that the next time you have your oil changed have them write down exactly what their putting in so theres no guess work down the road...
nothing bad would happen...no need to hurry to change oil again.
well most likely the two different liquids would separate and the oil wont hurt it but the other liquid will. Maybe blow your engine.
nothing will happen..your really just throwing money away being synthetic is alot more expensive.
no it won't hurt your engine.
