How do I remove the smell of motor oil from the carpet in my car?

Can anyone tell me how i can get the smell of motor oil out of my car? I made the mistake of letting my brother borrow my car an he spilt oil in my trunk; it has made my entire car reek of motor oil! I tired to scrub it up with some Resolve Stain Remover, but it hasn't really helped...How do I remove the smell of motor oil from the carpet in my car?
I think you will have to use a steam cleaner with an oil removing cleaner. Get your brother to do it properly or at least pay to have it done.How do I remove the smell of motor oil from the carpet in my car?
Try soap and water..... the use an air fresner.
i own a shop,and the best way to do this is shampoo it really good and use a wet dry vacuum cleaner on it,and pull as much of it out as you can so it will dry up real good,but you can get all of it out,its just going to take a few cleanings to do it in,you wont get it all the first time unless there's very little of it,good luck with it,hope this helps.
try some GOO Gone and there is some other carpet stain removers in wal-mart i say try the goo gone first and then try all other ones
