Fresh motor oil will be less harmful than used motor oil. Motor oil is a mineral oil, non digestible by the human body. There are also additives that change the viscosity. These additives are probably bad for you as well. With fresh oil, you would probably get very sick from ingesting it, but death would only result from large overdosing (remember, poison's in the dose).





Used oil is different because it has broken down. It's also turned more acidic, has carbon deposits from burning fuel, and metal fragments. Used oil is known to cause cancer. You would be in real trouble if you ingested used oil.

I wouldn't eat any synthetic..who knows what is in it...regular oil should be ok.. but why do that.. kinda expensive....don't you like beer..

Ingesting small amount is not likely to cause harmful effects but large amounts MAY be harmful.
