Can a vehicle go from synthetic motor oil back to standard after making the switch?

I am just curious after making the switch because I know standard is cheeper but synthetic saves you some money.Can a vehicle go from synthetic motor oil back to standard after making the switch?

I have with no problem. I was going to jiffy lube and getting the synthetic oil,but brought it in to the shop for a full service and they used standard oil. No leaks everything seems fine.
