No offense meant to you at all, but this is so much an example of the fact that ';Knowledge'; is something we often acquire, AFTER we need it. To have saved some angst, a method of prevention, might have been the better way to go.

I used Remove Oil Stains from Concrete with Ease with Pour-N-Restore!
cat litter after spraying with tide sulution about 1 cup per gallon
go to a GOOD auto parts store , and get Zorbite
I've heard kitty litter works very well, but I don't have cats.





I've found that saw dust works very well on spill that are still wet. Not sure about stains.
You can get a bag of speedy dry at the auto parts store. Pile it on and let it set for a while. Sweep this away and put more on again. After that make up a solution of 2 parts dawn dish detergent and 4 parts water. Wash with a stiff broom.
What ever you do - don't use Gunk.


It removes the oil, but also dissolves the asphalt.





I made that mistake once.
Litter. High pressure water jet. But the stain will be there forever.
Plain store brand clay cat litter.
i use to work at a gas station and when customers would spill gas we would use kitty liter
