Some gets dumped illegally but most of it is recycled, cleaned and used again.Motor oil....?
well used oil is not used up, it is dirty. it can be burned for fuel oil flter filtering it, or cleaned up and reused in desel fuel.
Most trucking company's change their oil ever 12000 to 15000 miles. The pump it into the fuel tanks of the truck and fill up the tanks with new fuel and run it thru the motor. As long as the oil is filtered before you do this, it will not harm the motor and will add to your fuel mileage also.
Most of the motor oil dosenot get dumped. Some of it is recycled filtered and reused. Some of it gose to the company that pave the roads they add it to the road surface when laying new pavement
do u mean the used oil that is taken out by the mechanic?
they take it to the recycling place and the oil is recycled!
it is collected by recycling comapnies and cleaned new additives put in and it is resold.
if you mean throw it a way take it to NAPA or any car stor
