What is the best motor oil to use on an old truck?

i have a 94 chevy 4.3 engine and was wanting to know the best oil for it, and i think synthetic is a little to expensive..What is the best motor oil to use on an old truck?
Don't switch to synthetic on an older car or truck unless you intend to replace all the petroleum based (rubber) gaskets.

Synthetic oil tends to dry them out and cause them to leak prematurely.

Pennzoil 10-W40 would be just fine. What is the best motor oil to use on an old truck?
i had a 92 4.3 i used mobil 1 in it had 350000 miles when i gave it away because it got to ugly
Mobile 1 synthetic, synthetic is a bit more but it's good for cars/trucks with more than 75,000 miles. BUt seriously as long as you change you oil and filter every 4,500 miles, any name brand oil is fine.
Pennzoil in my opinion
pensoil
Use a synthetic blend
